Under the patronage of the President of University of Baghdad, with the support of the Deanship of the College of Dentistry /University of Baghdad, and under the supervision of the Student Activities Unit, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a four-team five-a-side football championship for the medical group on the occasion of the inauguration of the college’s football field.
The tournament witnessed the participation of students from:
• The College of Medicine – Baghdad
• Al-Kindy College of Medicine
• The College of Pharmacy
• The College of Dentistry
The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine – Baghdad and members of the College of Dentistry Council.
The championship was held on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the College of Dentistry’s football field. The matches featured strong competition among the participating teams, with the College of Medicine – Baghdad team winning the tournament title.
The championship aimed to enhance the spirit of competition and communication among students, strengthen social and recreational ties, promote health and physical fitness, and encourage students to engage in sports as part of a healthy lifestyle.
The College of Dentistry continues to organize more sports and cultural activities that foster interaction among university students and contribute to building bridges of cooperation and solidarity among them.
