The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad has achieved a major scientific milestone by obtaining European international recognition for its educational programs. This prestigious accreditation was granted by the LEADER PROGRAM Foundation, a leading European institution internationally accredited in the field of dental education and academic research.
This achievement is a clear indicator of the quality of higher education and scientific research in Iraq, reflecting the significant efforts made by the college to strengthen its academic and research standing at the international level.
Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, expressed his delight at this accomplishment, emphasizing that it crowns the college’s continuous efforts to develop its programs and update its curricula. He noted that this international recognition will enhance the college’s position regionally and globally, opening new horizons for its graduates.
It is noteworthy that the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad is the first specialized dental college in Iraq to obtain such international recognition, and the second among medical disciplines after the College of Medicine. This achievement strengthens Iraq’s position on the global higher education map and demonstrates that Iraqi universities are capable of competing with distinction at both regional and international levels.
