Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Mohammed, and on the occasion of National Afforestation Day, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, through the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized a scientific seminar titled “The Benefits of Afforestation.”
The lecture was delivered by Assistant Professor Muna Saleem Khalaf and Assistant Professor Alhan Ahmed Qasim, in the presence of a number of the college’s students.
The seminar aimed to introduce the importance of afforestation and its impact on the environment.
It included several key topics, such as:
• The definition of afforestation
• The benefits of afforestation for individuals and society
The seminar recommended organizing more lectures on afforestation due to its importance to the community.
