Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Mohammed, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized the Second Iraqi Symposium of the Orthodontics Department entitled “Digital Orthodontics, Artificial Intelligence, and Clear Aligners: A New Era Beyond Traditional Methods”. The symposium was delivered by a group of specialized dental researchers.
The event was attended by the Administrative Assistant to the President of the University of Baghdad and Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, as well as the Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Sulaimani, Assistant Professor Dr. Rengdar Talabani. In addition, several deans and academic specialists from Al-Mustansiriya, Kufa, Karbala, Babylon, Sulaimani, and Anbar universities participated.
The symposium addressed several key themes, including modern technologies in digital orthodontics and the most prominent applications of artificial intelligence in the field. Researchers presented their scientific contributions, highlighting their role in enriching academic knowledge.
The symposium concluded with recommendations emphasizing the importance of strengthening scientific and academic collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence, as well as the need for continuous communication with reputable universities to consolidate joint cooperation and advance research in orthodontics.
