Under the patronage of the respected Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Mohammed, and on the occasion of National Tree Day, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled “Tree Planting and Its Impact on Nature.” The workshop was delivered by Lecturer Enam Abbas Mahmoud and attended by a number of the college’s faculty members and staff.
The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of adopting tree planting and agriculture in daily life, as they are sources of happiness, and to emphasize the significance of plants for the environment.
The workshop also covered several topics addressing the importance of plants and their benefits to the climate, in addition to their use as medical, cosmetic, psychological, and morale-boosting elements.
The workshop recommended the necessity of paying greater attention to agriculture and tree planting.
