Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Mohammed, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a training course entitled “Tissue Culture,” attended by a number of faculty members.
The training course aimed to introduce the fundamentals of tissue culture and cytotoxicity experiments.
The course included several key topics covering the principles and basics of tissue culture in both plant and animal types, as well as the methods for establishing and maintaining cell lines.
The course recommended proper preservation of cell lines used in scientific research and experiments, emphasizing the importance of following sterilization procedures to protect them from microbial contamination. It also highlighted the necessity of participating in conferences and seminars organized by specialized research centers in this scientific field.
