Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul-Razzaq Mohammed Al-Hashemi, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific lecture entitled “A Roadmap for Cooperation with the King’s College London Program.” The lecture was delivered by Professor Dr. Munther Al-Kadhim from King’s College London, and was attended by a number of faculty members and postgraduate students.

The lecture aimed to introduce the potential for academic and healthcare cooperation with the King’s College London program to enhance the University of Baghdad’s scientific standing, in addition to outlining the university’s programs.

The lecture also covered several topics that addressed the components of the cooperation program between the University of Baghdad and King’s College, including:

1. Scientific research and its importance in global university rankings, as King’s College has developed numerous programs in this area. 2- Introducing academics to the continuing education program, which includes academic courses and workshops for faculty members aimed at developing their skills, as well as courses for developing personal skills for self-improvement and embracing positive change.

3- The role of students in this program, as teaching is not limited to lectures by professors, but also includes the use of modern methods and approaches to student participation.

4- Informing the administration about the activities of the academic and administrative departments at King College University.

5- Courses in human development and scientific research.

6- Graduate qualification (Basic Standards System).

The lecturer recommended facilitating cooperation between the University of Baghdad and reputable universities to elevate our university to a higher level of excellence.
