Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, President of the University of Baghdad, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul-Razzaq Al-Hashemi, Dean of the College of Dentistry, the Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, organized the Scientific Output Exhibition on March 4, 2025, as part of its efforts to support and encourage scientific research and innovation in the medical field.

During his visit, the President reviewed a collection of scientific outputs presented by faculty members and researchers from the college. These outputs covered various fields of dentistry, including oral and maxillofacial surgery, pediatric and preventive dentistry, orthodontics, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, oral diagnosis, prosthodontics, and basic sciences.

The President commended the high scientific standard of the exhibited outputs, emphasizing the importance of supporting scientific research and innovation in dentistry, given its pivotal role in developing medical services and improving the quality of healthcare provided to the community. He also commended the efforts of those responsible for the event, praising the active role of the College of Dentistry in promoting scientific research and enriching academic knowledge.

Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul-Razzaq Al-Hashemi, Dean of the College of Dentistry, affirmed that the college is committed to adopting and supporting research projects that contribute to the development of the dental profession and raising the academic level. He noted that “such events represent a genuine opportunity to showcase scientific innovations and enhance cooperation among researchers, which will positively impact the quality of dental services provided to the community.”

A meeting of the College Council was held in the presence of the University President, during which a number of important issues related to developing the educational and research process within the college were discussed. These issues contribute to the advancement of the dental profession and the improvement of the academic level.

At the conclusion of the event, the University President toured the college to observe the workflow and visit the various facilities and departments.
