The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, through its Career and Employment Unit, organized a scientific achievements exhibition as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. This initiative aimed to support and encourage scientific research and innovation in the field of dentistry.
The event provided an opportunity to showcase scientific and research findings and patents covering various dental specialties, including oral and maxillofacial surgery, pediatric and preventive dentistry, orthodontics, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, periodontics, oral diagnosis, prosthodontics, and basic sciences.
During his tour of the exhibition, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Ismail Ibrahim, emphasized the college’s commitment to adopting and supporting rigorous research projects and applied research that contribute to the development of the dental profession and the advancement of its academic and scientific standards. He noted the college’s commitment to encouraging students and researchers to innovate and be creative, supporting their scientific contributions, and fostering a stimulating academic environment that contributes to developing their research capabilities and enhancing their entrepreneurial spirit, which positively impacts the quality of services provided to the community. He explained that organizing such scientific events provides an important platform for showcasing research innovations and strengthening scientific collaboration among researchers, which in turn positively impacts the quality of dental medical services provided to the community.
