Published a valuable scientific research entitled
(Cusp deflection and fracture strength of root canal filled premolars with two access cavities designs(Conservative vs Traditional).
The aim of the research was to evaluate and compare the effect of different access cavity designs on fracture resistance and edge deflection of endodontically treated teeth. The results indicated that the edge deflection increased with increasing cavity preparation size and stress relaxation tended to occur after thermal cycling. Furthermore, preserving the endodontic access cavity can improve the tooth’s resistance to fracture compared to its conventional counterpart.
The research was published on 08-28-2022 in the Spanish Journal of clinical and experimental dentistry, which is ranked in the second quarter Q2 of Scopus indexes.
