The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a continuing education course entitled (Overview of Maxillofacial Aesthetics).
The aim of the course was to present how to replace the missing face parts and jaws with artificial compensations of aesthetic quality that look like the natural parts of the body.
The course also included aesthetics and health of artificial prostheses for the maxillofacial region
They concluded that the possibility of accepting maxillofacial prostheses as good alternatives to other methods such as plastic surgery.
