These hazards include exposure to viral infections such as HIV and hepatitis, as well as musculoskeletal disorders resulting from improper working postures, and environmental hazards such as exposure to radiation, noise, and chemicals. In addition, the workshop addressed psychological hazards such as work stress and physical injuries from sharp instruments.
The workshop recommended the necessity of following occupational safety procedures within the clinic, such as using personal protective equipment, taking regular breaks to avoid fatigue, using modern and comfortable work techniques, and adhering to sterilization and infection control standards.
